⏰ What happens when your free trial ends
Our 7 day free trial is genuinely free — we don’t ask for a card up front, so there’s nothing to auto-charge when the 7 days are up. That means:
- You won’t be billed automatically.
- Your trial sites are paused rather than deleted, giving you a window to subscribe without losing anything.
- To bring your sites back online, you simply pick a hosting package and complete your first payment — that activates your subscription and reactivates your sites.
🚀 How to subscribe (step-by-step)
The whole process takes less than 2 minutes. Here’s exactly what to do:
- Log in to your dashboard at app.pbn.ltd/account/login.
- Click your name in the top-right corner of the dashboard.
- From the dropdown menu, select Subscriptions.
- At the top of the Subscriptions page, you’ll see your selected payment method (this will usually be Fastspring subscription by default). If you want to use a different payment method, click the Change button on the right.
- Select your preferred payment method — PayPal subscription, PayPal one-time payments, Fastspring (card), Fastspring one-time payments, or Crypto — and submit the change.
- Refresh the page. This is important — your new payment method won’t apply to the package selection until you refresh.
- Now select the hosting package you want (PBN10, PBN20, PBN50, and so on) and follow the on-screen prompts to complete your first payment. The subscription is only live once that payment goes through.
- Once the payment confirmation comes back, your sites will return to the OK state shortly after and you’re live on a paid plan.
💳 Choosing your payment method
We offer five payment options so you can pick whatever suits you best. Here’s a quick rundown of each:
PayPal Subscription
A recurring PayPal billing agreement. PayPal automatically charges you on each renewal date, so you never have to think about it. Best for people who want true “set and forget” hosting.
PayPal One-Time Payment
A single PayPal payment with no recurring agreement. Nothing renews automatically — your expiry date is shown in your Subscriptions tab, and you’ll need to manually renew (by paying again) before that date to keep your sites live. If you don’t renew in time, your sites will freeze until the next payment goes through. Best if you don’t want PayPal storing a billing agreement, or you prefer to pay manually on your own terms.
Fastspring (Credit/Debit Card)
A recurring card subscription via our payment processor, Fastspring. Auto-renews each cycle and supports prorated upgrades/downgrades mid-term. Best if you prefer card payments over PayPal.
Fastspring One-Time Payment
A single card payment with no stored recurring agreement. Same idea as PayPal one-time, just via card — nothing auto-renews. Your expiry date is shown in your Subscriptions tab and you’ll need to pay again before then to keep your sites live, otherwise they’ll freeze until you renew.
Crypto
One-off crypto payments (BTC, ETH, and a many of others). Because crypto is inherently one-time, nothing renews automatically — your expiry date is shown in your Subscriptions tab, and you’ll need to pay again before then to keep your sites live. If you miss it, your sites will freeze until the next payment goes through. Best for privacy-focused users or anyone who prefers paying in crypto.
✅ What happens after your first payment
As soon as your payment confirmation hits our system:
- Your account moves from “trial” status to a fully active paid subscription.
- Any paused trial sites automatically return to the OK state and are accessible again on their original domains.
- You’ll receive a payment receipt by email.
- Your next billing date is set based on your chosen plan and payment method (e.g. 30 days from your first payment for monthly plans).
🌐 Do my trial sites carry over?
Yes — completely. Anything you built, installed, or configured during the 7-day trial stays exactly as it was. Subscribing simply reactivates the same sites on the same infrastructure. There’s nothing to migrate, re-upload, or reinstall.
The only thing that changes is your account status — from “trial” to “active subscriber” — and the sites being unpaused.
🛠️ Troubleshooting
My sites are still paused after I’ve paid
Give it up to 5 minutes — payment confirmations can take a moment to arrive, especially for crypto. If your sites are still paused after that, get in touch with us via the chat widget on our website with your payment reference and we’ll reactivate them manually.
I can’t see the Subscriptions page
Make sure you’ve clicked your name in the top-right of the dashboard — the Subscriptions link sits inside that dropdown, not the main sidebar.
My trial ended a while ago — are my sites still recoverable?
Usually yes, but trial site retention isn’t indefinite. If it’s been more than a few weeks since your trial ended, log in and check whether the sites are still listed. If they’re not, get in touch with us via the chat widget before subscribing so we can confirm what’s available.
I paid but on the wrong plan
No problem — you can change plans at any time from the Subscriptions page. How the change is billed depends on your payment method (Fastspring prorates automatically, PayPal and Crypto have manual options). See the upgrade/downgrade guide for full details.
❓ FAQs
Do I need to add a card before my trial ends?
No. Our trials are genuinely card-free. You only enter payment details when you’re ready to subscribe — and only for the method you actually choose (you don’t need to provide a card if you’re going PayPal or crypto, for instance).
Can I subscribe before my 7 days are up?
Yes — you can subscribe at any point during the trial. Doing so simply ends the trial period early and starts your paid subscription from that moment.
Will I get any extra trial time if I subscribe early?
No — the trial is a separate, free 7-day window. Subscribing starts a fresh paid billing cycle from the date of your first payment, so there’s no benefit to waiting until day 7 if you’ve already decided.
What if I change my mind about my payment method later?
Easy — you can switch between PayPal, Fastspring, and Crypto at any time. Just remember to complete a payment on the new method for the switch to take effect. The full process is covered in How to Switch Your Payment Method.
Can I subscribe to a different plan than the one I trialled?
Absolutely. The trial isn’t tied to a specific plan — when you subscribe, you pick whichever package suits your needs. If you find you need more (or less) resource later on, you can upgrade or downgrade freely.
