7 Day Free Trial Rejected - Why

Our 7-day free trial is limited to one per customer — and one per company. If you try to start a trial and see a message saying it’s already been used, it means a free trial has already been taken on your account, or by you or your company before. When that happens you’ll simply need to choose a paid plan to get started.

💡 Heads-up
Being stopped from starting a trial doesn’t mean anything went wrong with your signup. You just can’t start another free trial, so the next step is simply to pick a paid plan.

Why your free trial was declined

The free trial is a one-time offer, so everyone gets a single trial each. You’ll be asked to choose a paid plan instead of starting a trial if any of the following apply:

  • You’ve already used a free trial on this account before.
  • You, or your company, have already taken a free trial on another account.
  • You’ve previously had a paid plan with us.

Because the limit is one trial per customer and per company, creating a brand-new account won’t start the clock again — you’ll see the same message and be pointed to the paid plans.

What the message means

When a trial can’t be started, a pop-up appears — straight after you sign up, and again if you later try to start the trial from your Subscriptions page or from another account. It confirms that the free trial has already been used by you or your company (one per customer) and that you’ll need to choose a paid plan to continue. It gives you two options:

  • Choose a paid plan — takes you straight to our plans so you can pick one and get started.
  • Contact support — get in touch if you have a question or think the block isn’t right.

What to do next

If you’d like to carry on, click Choose a paid plan and pick the plan that suits you. Your account is already set up, so once you’re on a paid plan you’ll have full access right away — there’s no need to sign up again or create a new account, as you will still be blocked from a 7 day free trial regardless of if you try using another email, username etc.

Think it’s a mistake?

If you’re sure you’ve never taken a free trial with us and think you’ve been stopped in error — for example, a colleague on the same office network may have started one before — click Contact support and let us know. We’ll take a look, and if a trial is appropriate we can get one started for you.

✅ Quick summary
The 7-day free trial is one per customer and per company. If you’ve already used one — or previously had a paid plan — you’ll be asked to choose a paid plan instead. Your account is still created, so just pick a plan to get started, or contact support if you think it’s a mistake.
