You can ask us to delete your whole PBN.LTD account at any time – your sites, their files and databases, your mailboxes, your backups and your account details. You confirm by e-mail, then you have 14 days to change your mind before anything is deleted.
💡 Download what you want to keep first
Once the 14 days are up, your sites and every backup of them are deleted for good. Download a backup of each site you want to keep, and move any domain names you registered with us to another registrar, before you confirm.
Asking for deletion in your dashboard or the app
- Sign in at app.pbn.ltd, or open the PBN.LTD Hosting app.
- Open Your Account & Settings → Edit profile and choose Delete my account at the bottom (or go straight to app.pbn.ltd/account/delete).
- Read what will happen, tick the box, type your username and press Delete my account.
- Open the link we e-mail to your account address and press Yes, delete my account. Nothing happens until you do (the link works for 48 hours).
Asking by e-mail
Write to [email protected] from the e-mail address on your account and say you want the account deleted. We send you the same confirmation link, so the request only goes ahead once you confirm it yourself.
What happens, and when
- When you confirm: any subscription that renews automatically is cancelled, so nothing more is charged. Time already paid for is not refunded.
- For 14 days: everything keeps working. The Delete my account page shows the date and a Cancel my deletion request button.
- After 14 days: your sites (files, databases, mailboxes), their backups, your saved site templates, your API keys and saved connections, your support tickets and your account details are deleted, normally within a day, and you can no longer sign in. We e-mail you when it is done.
What we keep
- Invoices and payment records, for six years, because UK tax and company law requires it.
- A short record that the account was deleted and when, without your name or e-mail address.
- Copies inside our disaster-recovery backups, which only exist to restore our service after a failure; they are overwritten on a rolling schedule and are gone within 12 months.
Domain names registered with us are not cancelled or moved automatically: transfer them out first to keep them, otherwise they expire at the end of their paid term.
Changing your mind
Open Delete my account and press Cancel my deletion request any time in the 14 days, or e-mail [email protected]. Nothing is deleted. Your plan then runs until its paid-up date; renew it from the Billing page to carry on.
