Short answer: Don’t panic. If your site is being hit by a DDoS attack, we already have powerful protection in place — and there are two quick steps you can take right now to shut it down.
A DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack just means a flood of fake traffic is trying to overwhelm your site. It looks scary, but it’s completely fixable — here’s exactly what to do during DDoS attack.
✅ Step 1: Make sure you’re using Cloudflare
Cloudflare is by far the strongest free DDoS protection available, and it’s our recommended CDN for any site that’s getting attacked. It gives you:
- Automatic DDoS mitigation — most attacks are blocked before they ever reach your site
- Industry-leading filtering and shielding — known bad IPs are dropped instantly
- Smart IP dispersion — your real server IP stays hidden from attackers
Not on Cloudflare yet? Switch to it now — here’s how:
- Back up your site from your PBN LTD dashboard (one-click backup, just in case).
- Remove the site from your dashboard. Don’t worry — your files and database stay safe in the backup.
- Re-add the site and select Cloudflare as your CDN option.
- Update the nameservers at your domain registrar (we show you exactly which ones in your dashboard).

🔍 Step 2: Open a support ticket for advanced protection
If you’re already on Cloudflare and the attack is still getting through (or it’s an unusually aggressive one), we can deploy custom mitigation rules just for your site. Open a support ticket from your dashboard and include:
- The domain name being attacked
- When the attack started (rough time is fine)
- What you’re seeing — 429 errors, etc.
Our technical team will then:
- Review the CDN and server logs to see exactly what’s hitting you
- Deploy custom firewall or rate-limiting rules
- Keep watching for further anomalies until the attack stops
- PLEASE NOTE: We do not add these rules unless there’s a DDOS attack on the domain.
❗ Good to know
- We manage all CDN configurations for you. You don’t need (and won’t have) direct access to your CDN provider’s dashboard — everything is handled securely behind the scenes on our end.
- Using ntcloud subdomain hosting with an external CDN? Heads-up: we don’t manage external CDN setups for subdomain hosting. You’ll need to add the firewall rules directly inside your own CDN provider’s account in that case.
- Most attacks are over in minutes. Cloudflare’s automatic mitigation handles the vast majority of DDoS attempts without you ever noticing — so don’t assume the worst if your site briefly blips.
