Money-Site Hosting – Managed WordPress For The Sites That Earn

Money-Site Hosting – Managed WordPress For The Sites That Earn

Money-site hosting is for the sites you actually earn from – a client site, a shop, the brand you are building. It runs on separate infrastructure: our sister company Zinn Digital’s own managed platform, with its own servers and its own IP ranges, so your money site never shares a server, an IP range or a footprint with a private blog network. You buy it and manage it here. It has its own item in the menu: Money-site hosting.

💡 Why keep them apart?
A private blog network and the site it points at should look like strangers to a search engine. Same servers, same IP ranges and the same neighbours is the one thing that makes them look related. That is why money-site hosting is a different platform, not just a different plan.

Open Money-site hosting in the menu. It has four pages:

  • WordPress – the Managed WordPress plans (this article);
  • Applications – hosting for one application such as Drupal, Joomla or Moodle (see Application hosting);
  • My money sites – your money sites and orders;
  • More from Zinn Digital – agency, reseller, cloud and other hosting sold by Zinn Digital (see More hosting from Zinn Digital).

Your sites list also has a line that leads here.

The plans

  • WordPress Starter – one site with daily backups, free SSL, a free CDN, mailboxes and object storage.
  • WordPress Plus – more sites, more disk and visits, plus staging, on-demand backups and a Redis object cache.
  • WordPress Pro – the most sites, advanced caching, push to live, priority support and a migration done for you.

Every plan installs WordPress for you, and every plan has the Install WooCommerce – fully set up and ready to sell tick. There is no separate WooCommerce plan: pick Plus or Pro for a busy shop. The exact allowances and prices are on the plans page, read from the live catalogue.

Buying one

  1. Choose how long you want to pay for – 1, 3, 6 or 12 months. The longer terms cost less a month, and the card shows what you save.
  2. Choose the plan.
  3. Tick WooCommerce if the site is a shop.
  4. Enter your domain, or leave it out to start on a temporary address.
  5. Tick any add-ons you want with it – they go on the same payment (see Money-site add-ons).
  6. Press Continue to payment and pay by card, PayPal or crypto on Zinn Digital LTD’s own secure page. We never see your card details.
  7. The site appears under My money sites as soon as it is built.

A monthly plan is ordered and paid in one step: you press Continue to payment and you are on Zinn Digital’s payment page straight away. Where a longer term is not yet priced online, the plans page says so before you start, and our team places that order and e-mails you the payment link instead – you get a ticket and a note on the order that nothing has been charged. Either way you never pay a different figure from the one we showed you: we check our price against Zinn Digital’s own price before we open a payment page at all, and if they do not match to the cent we stop and look at it rather than charge you.

After you have paid, the order page says your site is being built until Zinn Digital tells us it is live; refresh the page to see it change. If a build needs a hand our team is alerted automatically – you never have to pay again or start over.

A plan our platform cannot set up right now is not offered at all, rather than sold and then refused, and it comes back on the page by itself the moment it can be built again.

Try it free for 14 days

You can try money-site hosting free for 14 days, with no card needed, and you are never charged automatically: press Start free 14-day trial – no card needed in the set-up form. After the trial your site is paused for 3 days, then suspended unless you subscribe. One free trial per customer. See How the free trial works.

Managing it from your dashboard

How you manage it: the control panel box on My money sites – accept the invitation we e-mail you, then open the control panel. Managing your money site: the control panel and WordPress admin.

The site’s page shows whether it is live, the plan and what it includes, disk, files and visits against the allowances, hostnames, PHP version and region, and recent jobs and errors. A few jobs – file manager, database tools, SSH and SFTP details, staging and restores – open in the Zinn Digital panel, because they need a signed-in session there.

Several plans, and changing one

You can hold as many plans as you like – several of the same plan, or plans of different kinds. Buying a plan always adds it: it never replaces or cancels a plan you already have.

Money-site hosting › My money sites › Your plans lists every plan with the sites it hosts, how many of its site slots are free, when it renews and its price. When two plans share a name, each carries a short ref so you can tell them apart. Add another plan takes you to the plans page.

To upgrade or change one plan, press Change plan on its row and choose the new plan of the same kind. The page says which plan you are changing. When the new plan is paid, only that plan is replaced: its sites move onto the new plan with nothing to redo, unused time on the plan being replaced is not refunded, and your other plans are not changed. A free trial cannot replace a plan, and a plan can only be changed to one of the same kind – buy a different kind as an additional plan.

When you move a PBN site onto money-site hosting and more than one of your plans has room, the move page asks which plan should receive the site.

Cancelling the plan

Open the site under Money-site hosting › My money sites. The line under the site name shows your plan, its price and the date it renews, with a Cancel plan link.

The next page says exactly what happens before anything changes: the site stays live until the end of the period you have already paid for, renewal is switched off so nothing more is charged, and there is no refund for the rest of that period. Tick I want to cancel this plan and press Cancel the plan.

The page that confirms cancelling a money-site plan
The date the site stays live until, and no refund – shown before you confirm.

Afterwards the site page says ends on <date>, won’t renew, the Your plans list on My money sites says the same, and you get an e-mail confirming it. A plan can pay for several sites: the cancel page lists every site on it, and they all stop with it; your other plans carry on.

A plan paid through a PayPal subscription is renewed by PayPal, so it is cancelled in your PayPal account instead: Settings › Payments › Manage automatic payments, choose Zinn Digital LTD and press Cancel. The page tells you this if it applies to your plan.
